In this presentation, the entire text of the first book of the New Testament is presented twice, in a two-column table. Traditional Orthography ("T.O.": standard spelling) is in the left column; Augméntad Fanétik (Fanetik with accents to show syllabic stress) is in the right column.
"Matthew" is the first, longest, and most familiar of the four Gospels that tell of the life, works, and doctrine of Jesus of Nazareth. I present it here by way of showing how easily difficult personal and place names can be understood when written in Fanetik, and how readily sophisticated text can be presented unambiguously in Fanetik to people who may stumble over T.O. Christians concerned with reaching people whose English is poor may find materials in Fanetik or Augméntad Fanétik useful in religious education — or education more generally.
